Jadon Sancho expressed his gratitude to his Borussia Dortmund team-mates after their 2-0 win over PSV in the Champions League last 16. The England international scored the team’s first goal as they progressed to the quarter-finals with a 3-1 aggregate victory. The England international scored his side’s first goal as they beat PSV 2-0 in the second leg of their last-16 tie.
It was enough to secure a 3-1 aggregate win for Edin Terzic’s side, who also saw Marco Reus find the back of the net.

The goal was an emotional one for the 23-year-old, as it was the first time he had scored at Signal Iduna Park since returning to Germany in the transfer window.
He was expected to leave Old Trafford in January, but Dortmund came to his rescue and offered him a return to Germany on loan, two and a half years after he left for England.
It was in his first spell at the club that he put his name on the map, scoring 50 goals in 137 appearances between 2017 and 2021.
